Our team

Les intervenants du Refuge des Jeunes de Montréal

Our response team of 18 professionals is responsible for welcoming each youth seeking shelter at the Refuge, providing them with the advice, counselling and follow-up they need.

All our professionals have completed an educational program in the field of Social Help, including:  Bachelors of Social work or Psychology, career programs in correctional education, social work and special education, as well as certificates in intervention and social sciences, psychology and drug addiction.

Each youth is paired with a professional who establishes a general description of his needs as soon as he arrives and gives him the information and references he needs during his stay at the Refuge.

At the Refuge, professionals welcome every youth with unconditional acceptance, and without judgement, in order to build trust in a safe and human environment.
